У редакцію звернувся водій вантажівки та говорив про поганий стан Київського моста: при переїзді він починає “тремтіти”. Журналісти RIA вирішили з’ясувати, що з мостом на Чорновола зараз? На дорожньому покритті видно багато “латок” асфальту. Коли проїжджають багатотонні вантажівки, то перехожі можуть відчути це “тремтіння”.

І щоб зменшити навантаження, були встановлені обмежуючі знаки. Так, по центру можна їхати автівкам до 2,5 тонни, тоді як по боках - до 10 тонн. Але не швидше, ніж 40 кілометрів на годину. На жаль, водії нерідко ігнорують запобіжні заходи і “летять” цією переправою через Південний Буг. Невтішні спостереження з’явилися після огляду моста “знизу”: деякі опори пошкоджені, видно “оголену” арматуру, на якій залишилося небагато цементу, метал ржавіє.

Найбільше занепокоєння викликала основа однієї з опор мосту, яка на третину висить у повітрі. А що кажуть спеціалісти по мостах?
